OK… does every new blog start out with “welcome” or are other bloggers just that much more creative than I am? Don’t answer that… I think I can do it for myself.

The purpose of this blog, at least in my mind at this moment, is to start a creative discussion of ways to make money from home, either as a second income or as your “only job”. There are a lot of “get rich quick” ads and programs available on the ‘net, but what really works? How do we separate the good from the garbage?

I spend a lot of time reading, either books or on the internet and have yet to come across the one technique that will allow me to quit my “real” job and spend the majority of my days watching sunsets on the beach on some island whose name I cannot pronounce. Although I love what I do, that’s my goal. Just the wife, kids and I (and maybe an internet connection…)!

I want you to interact here and tell all of us about the good and bad experiences that you have had with whatever it is you comment on. We ALL need to benefit, not just you who is selling another something that you hope will make you rich at the expense of someone else.

Here’s the rules:

• You may add a link to your post going to the item you are discussing, but you need to explain why the product / service is good for everyone. Not just “This is the coolest widget ever! BUY TWO!”. You will be deleted!
• Do not post anything that you would not want your young son or daughter to read aloud in school. This includes porn, gambling, male/female “enhancements”, etc.
• No swearing, cursing or using words that I don’t know what they mean.
• No posts that someone would find offensive. If you are offended by “In God We Trust”, you should leave.
• Just be nice and post smart so that I don’t have to make up other rules…
